Director Application Development & Support

Overview:
Drive the development of cost-effective applications that address business needs while aligning with the Bank's long-term technology goals for Compliance and Enterprise Fraud business units.
Translate needs into functional projects and technological solutions.
Oversee projects to produce effective results and to maximize the return on investment.
Manage an annual budget, including forecasting, and develop a strong associate team.
Ensure that short-term results lead to the achievement of long-term strategic objectives through personal leadership, direction, and technical expertise.
May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy.
Qualifications:
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study plus eight (8) years in the job offered or eight (8) years of experience as a Compliance Technology Manager, Application Development Manager, Risk & Regulatory Associate, Software Engineer, Business Analyst, Technology Lead, or a related occupation.
Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or six (6) years as a Compliance Technology Manager, Application Development Manager, Risk & Regulatory Associate, Software Engineer, Business Analyst, Technology Lead, or a related occupation.
Position requires at least one (1) year of experience in a senior management position in regulatory or compliance.
Requires prior experience managing configuration and customization of third-party Compliance and Fraud solutions and vendor relationships to escalate and ensure the support of ongoing business.
Requires the ability to develop short-term and long-term plans to support business needs.
Requires strong expertise in Compliance and Fraud technologies like Actimize or FCRM.
Requires expertise in technology needs for Data Privacy regulation.
Requires knowledge of CAMS.
Requires at least three (3) years of experience managing an IT team that supports large-scale Financial Crimes systems like Actimize or FCRM.
Requires experience with strong business partnerships with Compliance and Enterprise Fraud organizations.
Requires experience documenting and driving roadmap and architecture for Compliance and Fraud technologies.
May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
